We are The Rizers, a band that sings Scripture verses in the form of upbeat, kid-friendly music. Our name is short for "memorizers"- oh snap! The five band members are Gracie (lead vocals), Matty C. (guitar and vocals), Mei Mei (keytar) , A-Yo (drums) and Johnny Danger (bass). We aren't rockstars or anything, we just like to rock out in our practice space (a.k.a. Matty C.'s garage) in the town of Rizing Springs.
Our mission is simple, we want to instill in kids a love for Jesus Christ and his Word through Scripture memory, praise and worship.

Meet The Rizers
Gracie
Gracie is the spunky, energetic lead singer
of The Rizers. She loves encouraging others, rockin' out with the band and singing praises to God. She's also Rizings Springs' reigning hula hoop champion!

Instrument: Lead Vocals
Favorite Things: Anything pink, sunday school, science class, cleaning her room, otter pops (yum!), scrag the dog and her little brother.
Matty C.
Matty C. is the leader of The Rizers. He is kind and smiles A LOT! Besides singing Bible verses, his favorite thing about The Rizers is jumping off anything he can when rocking out!
Favorite verse: Luke 11:9-10

Favorite Things:
Sweatbands, 4th of july, bonfires at the beach with friends, guitar solos, soccer, surfing and peanut butter.
A-Yo
A-Yo is one smooth cat! He is super chill until you get him behind a drum set where he brings those beats! There is nothing more certain than seeing A-Yo with a backpack, a smile and a skateboard.

Skateboarding, basketball (Denver Nuggets), crunchy cheetos, sweaters, his pet gecko Zeek and telling jokes.
Mei Mei
Mei Mei (pronounced "May May") is the quiet one of the bunch. For someone who rarely makes a peep, she sure knows how to bring the noise when its showtime!

Instrument: Keytar
Favorite Things: Reading the Bible, shopping at thrift stores, photographing things around town and collecting vinyl records.
Johnny Danger
Johnny Danger is by far the nicest and most
loyal person you could ever meet- he will do
anything to help his friends. He's an "I Am A Third" kind of guy: God first, others second and himself third.
Favorite Verse: 1 Timothy 6:12
Instrument: Bass
Favorite Things: Hawaiian pizza, football, lifting weights, chocolate milk and hanging out with his friends.
